BUSINESS CARDS

BUSINESS CARDS ARE DEFINITELY IMPORTANT!!!

For my solo exhibition at Tall Boys, I didn't have time to really create anything amazing in terms of business cards. They were simple, one of my sketchbook images printed onto thin coloured card, with my details on - very straight to the point...

I suppose for this, they were very suitable and the exhibition spoke for itself - this was just a small token for contact.

Without context however, I need business cards that really speak to people about my practice from the outset... so what better way than to SCREEN PRINT them.

Already, the difference in quality is so much better, they are so much more special and every one is different form the other. To save money I just took my left-over ink and only had to pay for the card, I made 100 business cards for like 40p, what a bargain!

I made a whole load, different colours, some a bit off in terms of registration, but for potential employers/clients, it is a talking point about my practice and what I am passionate about doing! I am a screen printer and it is how I want to progress as a creative.

Its nice to give people a choice of colours for business cards I think, it kind of forces them to engage more with you. I made these into some stickers too and I am also using one of the images to further brand myself!! I chose one to use as a portfolio header/header for my blog, header for LinkedIn and more.
