Reading this interview with this illustrator was so so interesting, some of the things he has to say about de-culturising figures in work, and not being limited by context, he has effectively created the perfect new world stripped of identity. The comic focuses in on action and movement, the beauty of his work is that it is purely left to interpretation, its almost just an artwork, not so much a narrative, although there is narrative through action. His ideas are fascinating, although I don't FULLY understand, its a totally new way of looking at 'story-telling'.
